Don't let dry, irritated eyes keep you down. Talk to an optometrist about dry eye relief options.

Dry Eye Treatment

Dry eye affects millions in the United States, and can have many different causes. Not only can dry eyes be uncomfortable, they can also negatively impact eye health. If you experience any of the following symptoms, consider getting examined for dry eye:

  • Redness or eyes that appear irritated and bloodshot

  • Consistent burning or tingling sensations in the eyes

  • Eyes that feel itchy or as if they have something in them

  • Increased sensitivity to bright lights or sunlight

  • Excessive tearing, or eyes that always appear watery

If you are diagnosed with dry eye, it can be treated in a few different ways, including eye drops for inflammation, oil gland treatment, proper eyelid hygiene, or antibiotics if due to infection. Your optometrist will work will you to find what works best for you.
